Carl Hall lived with courage, purpose, and an unwavering belief in community. During his 14-year journey with Parkinson’s disease, he refused to let the diagnosis define him, choosing instead to face each day with resilience, optimism, and determination. Long before his illness, Carl was a respected business and community leader whose work helped shape the places where people lived and came together. He later served as King of the Krewe of Neptune and helped found the InteKrewe Council, leaving a legacy rooted in connection and civic spirit. His personal experience with Parkinson’s inspired his support of pdLIFE, a nonprofit dedicated to improving quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s and for the families and caregivers who walk alongside them. The Carl Hall Challenge honors Carl’s strength and perseverance while advancing the mission he cared deeply about, supporting the Parkinson’s community through awareness, resources, and hope.This community event brings the Tampa Bay Parkinson’s community together to celebrate courage, strength, and perseverance along their Parkinson’s journey. The 0.5-mile walking challenge is more than a course—it’s a powerful symbol of the strength and determination of our PD warriors. ***********Day of registration and check in starts at 9:00 am*************** The Challenge is a 0.5-1 mile walking course with obstacles designed specifically for people with Parkinson's Disease.
